About this Aircraft The S-70 Firehawk is a specially converted Blackhawk type helicopter that is used for fire attack operations. It is an impressive airframe, with a unique appearance. Although several are in operation, the Los Angeles County Fire Departments white, yellow, and black variants are probably the most recognizeable. About this Package The Hovercontrol Firehawk project was a follow-up to the popular Hovercontrol Blackhawk/Seakhawk project. It borrowed some of the components and animations that had originally been brought together on the Hovercontrol Erickson Aircrane project. While the modifications to the Blackhawk model and configuration were produced by Jordan Moore, the impressive repaint set was produced by Kirk Sunley. A talented graphic artists recognized throughout the helicopter flight simulation community for his contributions. About the Author(s) Jordan Moore is the owner of Hovercontrol.
