Certified Pilot Course

The first phase of Flight School. This course requires understanding of the course material as well as the completion of an evaluation checkride. The purpose of this course is to develop the basic piloting skills needed to properly control a helicopter, as well as to begin developing the student's understanding of other helicopter flight concepts. Student pilots who successfuly complete this course will have passed the appropriate knowledge exam (90% or better) and will have displayed the applicable skills under the direct observation of a qualified Hovercontrol Instructor Pilot. All of the training and reference material will be based on the FS2002/FS2004 default Bell 206 JetRanger aircraft, unless otherwise specified.
