Has anybody seen a model for fsx? :)

http://www.guimbal.com/index2.php?l=6
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guimbal_Cabri_G2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2_zWf-Ywpk

This helicopter has everything what the helicopter pilots wished to have improved on R 22 (the r22 accident rate has got so bad recently insurance companies refused and no longer insure r22 in NZ)

Some of the Cabri G2 highlights:
- High inertia rotor with a starflex system (same as eurocopter)
(you have more than twice the time to lower the collective)
- Faenstrom tailrotor (same as eurocopter)
no LTE
- glass and steam cockpit
- plasma ignition
- low fuel consumption
- automatic carb heat with manual override
- plenty of space in cockpit
- can tolerate low G - Turbulence - and cyclic climb.
- and it is crash tested up to 2000 (two thousands !) ft/min
:)

That helicopter will replace the R22 when it gets certified in the U.S.  Gauranteed.  It's safer and cheaper.

As much as the Robinson R22 is an ugly helicopter, the Cabri is a beautiful helicopter, and it seems to be well engineered as well.

I look forward to seeing someone model the Cabri too.

Pretty bird! :D

Cheers

It's so tempting... :D Looks kind of easy to model, and with the amount of specs listed on the site, that just makes it easier. Will have to look into it more for a future project.  :;):

Anything we get will be helpful and make the project more possible.

Here's a direct link to the flight manual if it will be of help: http://nyheli.org/Cabri_G2_files/J40-001-Issue-02-PFM-eng.pdf  I found it here: http://nyheli.org/Cabri_G2.html

OK, I think that pretty much guarantees that the project is possible. :D Just need cockpit and engine photos and it could definitely happen someday.  :;):

YES PLEASE!!!  This is one of the most anticipated helicopters in the training industry and has a new type of articulated rotor system that is just out of this world.

A very nice helicopter for VFR-flying.

I don't like the R22, but this is a nice one, I'm sure it would be a nice project for ERS, but finish the 222 and the 206 first and fix the Enstrom frame problem ;)
