Hi all, I have been reading the excellent article by Jordan on Helicopter Air Files and Configuration.

In it, Jordan says that in the empty weight CG position, if you change the CG by lowering it a small amount on the vertical axis you may get some stability.

Im just wondering what position is the Vertical Axis?

Mine is as follows:
empty_weight_CG_position= 0.000, 0.000, 0.000

So what one is the vertical?

Thank you kindly.

The order is longitudinal, lateral, vertical.
(Positive values are forward, starboard and upward.)
