I agree with you on the Mi-17, but it looks like the Bell 430 will win. Actually, I would like the S-92. None for FSX, and none in the pipeline.

I'd really love an updated Bell412. It's still the one I fly mist in the sim.

A Bell412EPI with working Hoist, floats, external watertank for fire fighting, nightsun .... That's I'm dreaming of :)

What we really need is a helicopter (or twenty) that does not already exist for FSx or is currently poorly simulated. We have plenty of examples of the Huey series.

I understand that a lack of technical information/access to physical specimens hinders development somewhat, but a "good approximation" will be appreciated by many, so why not do something "new"? We have no military version of the Bell 206B, for instance (repaints don't count).

You have to remember that not everyone in the FS Community requires 100% realism in systems or flight dynamics, they just want something different.

I wish they would have chosen a P3D compatible S76, any of the AW series, or honestly anything else that just hasn't been done before. I went with the 17 because its different.  And honestly I feel the 430 is more or less the same as the 222.
