Often members will be looking for free tools, applications and or programs to complete their projects. There are a lot of great freeware tools, applications and programs available that are scattered around the internet but often a little difficult to find, especially when you don't really know what you are looking for.

The purpose of this article is to give direct links to freeware tools/programs/applications for use by others. I'll add more links as I find more or you might have a link or two that will be useful to others, feel free to add them. I have also added links for FSX Service Packs and FS9 SDK.

MS Image Tool
Image Tool can be found in the FS9 SDK's (Terrain SDK/Terrain Tools folder) and also in the FSX SDK's (Terrain SDK Folder)

FSDS v3.5.1 Tweak
Available from Avsim is FSDSxTweak v1.5

This tool allows you to add various tweaks (such as bump mapping and specular mapping) to your FSDS v3.5.1 generated .x files, which is not allowed by the FSDS interface. This tool requires FSDS v3.5.1 and the FSX SDK for XtoMdl.
